Welcome to Milltown Primary School
We are delighted to welcome you to our website. It offers a snapshot of school life at Milltown Primary School and serves as a way to share important information with our school community.
Our Location
Milltown Primary School is situated in the townland of Lenaderg, on the outskirts of Banbridge in County Down. Our pupils come from both the local area and from further afield.
Our History
The current school building was officially opened in June 2001, although there has been a school on this site since 1954.
Our Classes and Facilities
We cater for pupils from P1 to P7 in composite classes. Our smaller class sizes allow for greater individual attention. The school boasts excellent facilities, with bright, spacious classrooms that are well resourced and equipped with the latest technology.
Our Grounds
The school is set in attractive grounds featuring a hard-surface playground, a trim trail, a castle, an outdoor classroom, outdoor play resources, large grass areas, and a variety of trees. These spaces are well maintained throughout the year and used for sporting and academic activities.
Our Achievements
We are proud of the school’s academic and pastoral achievements. Please follow the link to our most recent full Inspection Report.
