Another successful World Book Day celebration in Milltown! Our theme was ‘Slipper Stories’ and children came dressed in pjs and slippers for a morning of reading. Our classrooms were transformed into small reading dens where children could have a ‘flashlight adventure’ and read stories using torches. Children had the opportunity to read with their reading partners and in their friendship groups. The hot chocolate and cookies went down a treat also! 

Thank you to Mrs Hanvey for organising the day and all the boys and girls (and their grown ups) for fully embracing the theme and making this another World Book Day to remember.
