Today we celebrated Safer Internet Day. This year’s theme is ‘Smart tech, safe choices – Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI.’ We discussed what AI stands for, how we use it every day, and how to stay safe when using it. The children will complete a competition based on this year’s theme with lots of House points up for grabs.
The School Council introduced their Playground Buddy system which will begin after half-term. We hope this will make playtimes even more inclusive and a safe space for everyone. Well done to the School Council – we think this is a great idea.
Mrs Wilson presented the Principal’s Award to the three class winners: Lydia, Connie and Eli. 👏👏 Well done for encouraging others to try their best and persist even when things seem difficult.
Finally we totalled our January House points and added them to Term 1 totals. We have two Houses with exactly the same scores and the other House is not far behind. Great work everyone! It is getting exciting! 😊
