On Tuesday morning, we were delighted to welcome families and friends to our Christmas Carol Service. Guests were greeted by members of our fantastic PTA with tea, coffee and treats, and had the opportunity to purchase our beautiful bobble hats and the ever-popular reindeer and elf poop treats.
The boys and girls performed brilliantly. Our P6 and P7 pupils delivered clear and confident readings, our talented musicians played beautifully, and the whole-school singing was tuneful and joyful. The children’s performance of ‘We Are Going on a Star Hunt’ was a real highlight. A special well done to Connor and Eli in P7, who ensured the PowerPoint ran smoothly throughout.
Our wonderful PTA also drew the raffle for the coloured class hampers, a voucher for the Bannville Hotel, and a beautiful Christmas wreath kindly donated by a parent.
Thank you to everyone who came to support the children, donated prizes or bought raffle tickets, helped organise the hampers, or assisted with refreshments. Thank you to Tesco, Banbridge and David McKay for their generous donation of mince pies, shortbread, coffee and sweets. Thank you also to our dedicated staff for their continued hard work, and to our amazing children – you should be very proud of yourselves.
