Today, Mr Pollock, past Principal of Banbridge Academy, spoke to the children about this special time of year—Spring, new life, and hunting for eggs. The children listened intently as he told the story of Mary Magdalene searching for Jesus after his death and finding an empty tomb. In the garden she met Jesus, but at first she thought he was the gardener. We heard that Christians believe Jesus died on the cross because he loved us. Mr Pollock kindly gave each class some delicious mini eggs, which we were all delighted with.
