Today we learned about monuments from the Stone Age. We were interested in the passage tomb found at Newgrange, Co. Meath and the stone monuments in Stonehenge, England. We enthusiastically participated in a STEM challenge to build our own Biscuit Henge. Children were engaged in this activity but the real joy came when they got to eat their creation. They brought the rest of their monuments home.
