Today we welcomed Mark Moorhead from Scripture Union Northern Ireland to lead our Assembly. We appreciated Mark’s enthusiasm and energy throughout the morning. He taught us a new action song, which we really enjoyed. Mark also shared the Bible story of Jesus healing ten people with leprosy, and how only one returned to say thank you. This story can be found in Luke, chapter 17, verses 11–19.

Children took on acting roles to help tell the story, with pupils playing the people with leprosy and Alfie proving to be a natural performer in the role of Jesus. The rest of the cast also did a fantastic job bringing the story to life for everyone watching! Mark encouraged us to reflect on the importance of being thankful and remembering to say “thank you” in our everyday lives.

We look forward to welcoming Mark back on Monday when he will deliver a P7 transition workshop.
