We are learning about the job of a construction worker. We worked inside to build small buildings using plans that we designed ourselves and explored a small world construction site. Outside we made larger structures using wood, pallets, crates and various sized planks. We measured using a metre stick and checked our structures were level using a spirit level. We helped each other to lift the heavier objects and some used trikes to transport bricks from one area to another. In the sand pit and gravel pit we used various vehicles to move sand or gravel and used our muscles to move the large scoop! It was harder than it looked! Working on a construction site is hard work!
