P1 are investigating words beginning with a ‘h’ sound and P2 read a story called ‘Catch that Hat’ to explore rhyming words and patterns. We tried on lots of different types of hats: woolly hats, riding helmets, caps, a golf hat, a wedding hat, sun hats, an Easter bonnet and a jester hat. Which hat do you like best?
